May 2016: The University of Mannheim will offer a new 2-year master program, "Competition and Regulation Economics," starting Fall 2017, coordinated by Martin Peitz.

August 2015: The second edition of the book "Industrial Organization: Markets and Strategies" by Paul Belleflamme and Martin Peitz is now available in Europe (in the US from September).

January 2014: Martin Peitz becomes Co-Editor of the International Journal of Industrial Organization.

November 2013: Martin Peitz becomes member of the economic advisory group on competition policy (EAGCP) at the European Commission.

July 2013: Martin Peitz is elected Director of the European Network for Training in Economic Research (ENTER).

July 2013: Martin Peitz ends his term as chair of the Department of Economics.

June 2013: Martin Peitz becomes Associate Editor of the Journal of Industrial Economics.

September 2012: Martin Peitz joins as an Academic Director the Brussels-based think tank, Centre on Regulation in Europe (CERRE).

July 2012: The Oxford Handbook of the Digital Economy edited by Joel Waldfogel and  Martin Peitz has been published by Oxford University Press.

Sepember 2011: The annual meeting of the European Association for Research in Industrial Economics (EARIE) takes place in Stockholm. Martin Peitz is chair of the scientific committee.

August 2010: Martin Peitz becomes chair of the Department of Economics and dean of the Faculty of Law and Economics.

January 2010: The book "Industrial Organization: Markets and Strategies" by Paul Belleflamme and Martin Peitz has been published by Cambridge University Press.
